Behind LUCKY AUTIST

At the age of 11, Kenan was diagnosed as autistic. It was a relief because I finally had words to understand and explain his way of being, different from other children. Accepting his difference was not always easy. I believe that for every parent, the journey is unique. For a long time, I regretted not having a "typical" child. But little by little, my perspective changed.

Kenan lives in the present moment, he is happy with the small things: a ladybird lands on his finger. A flower that blooms.

All of these little things that we don't look at him he sees them. He does not judge people. It has an incredible enthusiasm, sincerity and total no filter. He is 13 years old, but he brings me a flower and say, " I love you, mommy ".

His vision of the world is a healthier, more just that most of the people. And when I see the world through his eyes, I can see how much it is beautiful and it is easy to love.

The people, the different children in the margins of a society that is obsessed with success, making a vision, our world needs.

I hope that Kenan live out their difference not as an obstacle but as a force — another way of understanding the world, rich and singular.

With my husband Louis, we have created LUCKY AUTIST to celebrate this unique vision. LUCKY AUTIST is for everyone : with autism, neurodivergents or neurotypical — because in the end, we are all different, and it is this diversity that makes up our wealth.

Our Journey

December 2023

I design " IS YOUR SKY GREY? WELL LOOK AT MINE! "– " Is your sky is grey ? This is mine ! inspired by Kenan’s ability to get excited about anything from a trip to the recycling center to a strawberry donut

The idea of creating a brand to change perceptions of autism and neurodiversity comes to us. Louis finds the name, LUCKY AUTIST gently provocative. I draw the logo: the famous colorful glasses that let you see the world differently.

March 2024

The association MILKY WAY shares our vision and presents us with quite a challenge: create a collection of products and items in three months for their booth at Paléo 2025. We just barely manage it—phew!—and the products make it to Paléo!

August 2024

A mother of a child in a wheelchair asks me to create a cheerful and positive sticker to encourage drivers to leave space for opening the side door. The garage handling her vehicle's adaptation loves the concept and buys a large quantity for future clients.

November 2024

I meet Sarah from the association Premiers Pas, and the idea of giving a suitcase full of thoughtful items to parents of newborns with Down syndrome moves me. We create baby clothes featuring the phrase “ALL UNIQUE, ESPECIALLY ME”, translated and illustrated also in Swiss German.

We create a collection for the Milky Way association titled AUTISM POWER!

May 2025

Together with AUTISME VALAIS, we offer ALL UNIQUE, ESPECIALLY ME gifts to autistic children attending a special day in Champéry. Meeting other parents and making people smile—it brings us so much joy!
