Lucky Autist Studio specialises in visual communication around neurodiversity, disability and inclusion.

Founded by Cathy and Louis Yersin, it brings together the expertise of a senior graphic designer and illustrator and that of a therapist and urban photographer. Their commitment is also personal, as Cathy is the mother of an autistic child.

Together, they create visuals and awareness campaigns that combine graphic impact, message clarity, and kindness, to make inclusion more visible and accessible in everyday life.

Creations

Some campaigns and creations made for our partners.

AUTISMUS SCHWEIZ
For this collaboration with Autism Switzerland, we created an exclusive design for their holiday camps. With the organisers having greatly appreciated our work, the visual was adapted into several colours on hoodies and T-shirts. A project we are particularly proud of, especially since it brings joy to both the children and their carers.

ERSTE SCHRITTE
We are proud to be among the sponsors of the Premiers Pas association. When a baby with Down syndrome is born, the association provides a welcome suitcase at the maternity ward, filled with gifts for the whole family.

For this wonderful initiative, Cathy created a message that is tender, joyful, and inclusive, printed on newborn baby onesies. Two other messages, in French, complete this collection full of gentleness and kindness.

AUTISM VAUD

For the association’s t-shirt, we envisioned a project to raise awareness through a strong and positive message. Louis proposed around thirty slogans, and “Autism to Dream Further” was ultimately the one that resonated with everyone.

Cathy then explored several graphic directions, playing with styles, typography, and colors to strike the perfect balance between readability, emotion, and visual identity.

The result is a t-shirt that is both simple and meaningful, designed to convey a message of openness and hope.

AWARENESS STICKER FOR DISABILITY

This sticker was born out of a mother's request to raise awareness about her child's disability among other drivers, without stigmatizing him.

The goal was twofold:
- To offer a positive visual for the child,
- To convey a clear, simple, and positive message—not a medical one.

This approach is also effective: psychology studies show that a positive message fosters greater empathy and cooperation than a cold or overly medical communication. Drivers are thus more likely to adapt their behavior.

This sticker has been so successful that several garages have since ordered it for their customers, including a Swiss German version.

AUTISM GENEVA - RACE FOR GIFTS

The phrase “I run in blue for autism” was designed by Cathy to create a unique, characterful and impactful visual.

The goal was to create a T-shirt that people would be proud of and want to wear every day. In psychology, we are more likely to wear a garment we find aesthetically pleasing and flattering than a mere message board. The more a T-shirt is appreciated, the more it is worn, and the more its message gains visibility!

An attractive design thus allows awareness to extend beyond a single day, accompanying those who wear it throughout the year.
